ADJUSTING COW/PEOPLE PADS
Applies too both cows for the 771 Stockyard
and people for the 766 Guilford Station.
The nap on the base of the cattle is
pressed
so it lays back on an angle.
When replacing with the new pads it
is necessary
to adjust the slant of the nap.
This can be done by dampening and rubbing
over the bottom surface of a medium
hot flat
iron.
Note in the illustration below the
nap on
all figures slants to the rear. The
black
cows angles in
one direction while the nap on the
brown
cow angles in the opposite direction.
Both the man and woman figures slant
the
same way.
